Y8 TOANers Plan their BIG Futures with Young Enterprise
Young Enterprise North West hosted specially commissioned career-coaching workshops for Y8 students at TOAN recently as part of the academy’s commitment to boosting students’ employability and life skills.
As part of our Futures Programme drop down day, the workshops tasked students with mapping out the steps they need to take to land their dream job and working out how much they would need to earn to live their ideal lifestyle to match.
Mr Davis, TOAN Headteacher said: ‘TOAN and Young Enterprise share the belief that every student should leave school fully prepared for life in modern Britain.
This is why the academy invests additional resources and the expertise of external agencies to develop key employability skills that will enable our students to move to the next stage of their education, employment, self-employment or training.
We look forward to enriching our students with many more opportunities that will enhance their long term future career prospects as they progress through our specially crafted Futures Programme.’
