David Moran was appointed as Chief Executive Officer in October 2013, having joined E-ACT as Director of Operations in March 2013.
David has extensive experience in the public, charitable and commercial sector, most recently having worked as Programme Director for Tribal Group PLC in Tennessee, a position he held since August 2011, before which he was Director of Operations from August 2010. Within his role at Tribal David was also Project Director for Tribal’s school improvement, review and inspection programme, supporting 34 High Priority Schools. Prior to his work at Tribal David was Operational Director for Specialist Schools and Academies Trust from February 2009.
David has written a range of publications, and was the co-author and editor of SSAT’s annual publication: Educational Outcomes. Most recent work has included: system level research on ‘narrowing the gap’ for disadvantaged students, the impact of collaborative technologies, and international benchmarking.
